1:1 Pre-University Research Project with academics from Oxford or Cambridge

Updated: Feb 11, 2022

The Oxbridge Online Research programme provides undergraduate-level research opportunities to motivated and high achieving students aged 13-18.

Participants work one-on-one with university tutors from the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford to undertake advanced research on a topic of their interest, culminating in a full-length (3,500 word) academic research paper.

The programme is conducted online and your tutor will be a teacher who has experience teaching actual undergraduates, and deep subject expertise. You can choose the intensity of your project with 2-week, 4-week and 8-week options. Your tutor will help to guide you through your project with 5 hours of academic contact time per week as well as regular direct communication through e-mail or e-messaging and constructive personalised feedback.

There are 19 broad subject areas to choose from, but within those, there is a lot of scope to design your individual research question.

Bespoke start dates are available for these programs and the two-week program starts from £2,495

If you are an academically curious student who enjoys research and is itching for a way to develop your skills and give you something that will stand out within your applications to university, this is a great programme to consider.
