About the Taster Lecture
Join the University of Sheffield to learn more about a career in adult nursing. You will specifically explore the human kidneys and challenges patients face when they fail. By the end of the taster session you will be able to describe the anatomy of the kidneys, functions of the kidneys, the main causes of kidney damage, chronic kidney disease, and dietary/fluid restrictions.
Who is this lecture for?
Students in IB1 or IB2 with an interest in studying Adult Nursing at university.
Please do not register to attend if you have any lessons or other pre-planned activities that may overlap with this lecture.
