About the Session
Dr Evelyne Mercure from Goldsmiths, University of London, is hosting an interactive linguistics talk on Child Language Development. You will have the opportunity to explore our early milestones of language development using videos of toddlers in conversation with others. You will also learn about perceptual narrowing which allows babies to transition from a universal language listener to a vocabulary acquisitionist.

Students who are interested in studying Linguistics and other related disciplines at university.
