Your Dentistry work experience and careers day is designed in the morning to show you exactly what it takes to achieve a place in dental school. Led by dentists and dental students, you’ll learn exactly what you need to gain a place to study dentistry from the subjects required, grades needed to the various dental schools in the UK and their teaching methods. We’ll map out a route for you to follow to be successful in your applications.
The afternoon is spent gaining some dentistry work experience. Much sought after, you will spend time with dentists, learning from them as they guide you through scenarios such as extractions, fillings and learn exactly what the day-to-day life of a dentist entails. It’s our am that by the end of the day you’ll know exactly what it takes to apply to study dentistry at university and also have had some hands-on experience too to aid in your applications and interviews.
We have bursaries available for UK and International students to enable them to attend our courses without charge or at a reduced cost. There are 150 free places available each year & a further 100 at a reduced cost for those students requiring financial help.
