As you may be aware, we are unable to host our university-wide Open Days in person this year, so whilst we are sad to not to be able to see lots of you in person we do hope to see many of you at our Virtual Open Day on Friday 17 September 2021.
We also have a range of other resources and events that we hope you will make use of.
University of Oxford Virtual Open Days
Friday 17 September
We will have a number of videos available throughout both days, created by our staff and students. These include advice on making a competitive application, a virtual tour of the Department, and some sample lectures. Our academic tutors and students will be available throughout the day (8am to 4pm) to answer your questions via live text-based chat.
We have a student question and answer session at 11:00 and an admissions question and answer livestream at 13:00, featuring our tutors.
Registration is highly recommended for the Virtual Open Days. Register to receive useful information about the event:
Digital Resource Hub
The University of Oxford has compiled the best of its digital resources into a Digital Resource Hub to support learning and exploration. These resources can help parents and teachers to feed the curiosity of growing minds and inspire them to think broadly. They can also enable older students to explore their passions and interests further, and to discover more about Oxford.
Want to find out more? Our Computer Science reading list compiles a list of useful books, resources and activities that can help you understand and explore Computer Science.
At the moment you can’t visit us in person
Please, watch our video tour, visit our Facebook page, find us on Twitter @CompSciOxford, or check out the latest news and activities happening in the department via our website.
