About the Talk
Ilse Renaudie from the University of East Anglia will present Immigration in French Politics Today. This talk will explore Emmanuel Macrons ruling Renaissance Party, how immigration is perceived in society, the influence of politics, and the role France plays in helping refugees.
Dr Madeleine Chalmers from the University of Leicester will then present Building the Republic. This talk will explore how French republicanism has been constructed through symbols, imagery, and rhetoric.
Who is this talk suitable for?
Students in IB1 & IB2 who are interested in studying French or other related disciplines at university.
