About the Taster Lecture
Professor Henk de Berg is hosting a German taster session introducing you to the psychologist Sigmund Freud. You will explore Freud's theories of the workings of the mind, his theory of the unconscious, and discover why it is important to read Freud in German. You will also have the opportunity to hear from current undergraduate students, as well as learn about life as a languages student at the University of Sheffield.
Who is this lecture for?
Students in IB1 or IB2 with an interest in studying German at university.
Please do not register to attend if you have any lessons or other pre-planned activities that may overlap with this lecture.
