About the Lecture
Professor of Mathematical Biology, Leah Band from the University of Nottingham is hosting an interactive Maths lecture on the role of mathematician and modelling in understanding and tackling food shortages. Throughout the lecture, you will explore the role of mathematical modelling in helping guide sustainable food production, helping us understand how crop growth is impacted by water availability, and help us identify crop varieties which require less fertiliser and water.
Who is this lecture for?
This lecture is suitable for students in IB1 & IB2 who are interested in studying Maths or other related disciplines at university.
