Title: Sensing the world with sound
Description: This taster session will explore whether mechanical engineering is right for you through a discussion around research currently underway at the university where they are designing a swarm of small robots that use sound to detect cracks and blocks in sewers.
Suitability: Students in IB1 & IB2 who are interested in studying mechanical engineering at university.
Please do not register to attend if you have any lessons or other pre-planned activities that may overlap with this lecture.
