About the Taster Lecture
This taster lecture will explore Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma in Context: Adaptation and Reception. You will consider how the musical came about, including its roots in the play Green Grow the Lilacs, and consider the importance of the choreographer Agnes de Mille in telling the story of the show.
