About the Taster Lecture
Join this taster lecture to explore the human kidneys, how to look after them and the challenges patients face when the kidneys have failed. By the end of the session, you should be able to describe the basic anatomy of the urinary systems and kidneys, know their functions and causes of damage, know what chronic kidney disease is and end stage kidney disease, as well as dietary and fluid restrictions.

4.30pm: Interactive task
4.40pm: Discuss Sheffield as an option for adult nursing, with the programme lead and student ambassadors
4.55pm: Q&A session
5.15pm: End of session
Who is this taster lecture suitable for?
Students in IB1 and IB2 who are interested in studying Nursing, Midwifery, or other related subjects at university.
