About The Talk

Join Dr Laure Daviaud from the University of East Anglia for an interactive talk exploring how the power of maths allows AI to learn and outperform existing technology. Using examples from algebra, probabilities, optimisation, and calculus, you will learn how AI creates mathematical representations of the world.


Who is this talk suitable for?

Any students who are interested in studying Maths, Computer Science, or related subjects at university. If you would like to attend, please request absence from Emily in the careers office, no later than 3 days prior to the activity taking place.
