From Monday 25 to Friday 29 July, The University of Sheffield is hosting a residential summer school for students aged 16+ to learn more about studying engineering at university. During the five days in Sheffield, students will sample a wide variety of engineering subject areas through laboratory classes and taster lectures. Attendees will have the opportunity to use state-of-the-art, practical laboratories and equipment to learn about programming robots, how to test electricity, mixing chemicals, bioengineering and much more. Participants will also live the student life by staying in halls of residence and meeting current students to discuss their university experiences. The course costs £475 but some bursaries are available. Apply before Saturday 30 April.
