  • Discover creative studies in the UK Oct 2021 - Virtual Session

    Please join 8 of the Top Creative Arts Universities in the UK to learn more about studying for a creative degree. We will be offering a variety of sessions covering specific creative disciplines from Architecture, to performance and film, as well as preparing a portfolio, creative careers and finding the right university for you. There will also be an opportunity to hear directly from current students about their experiences studying for a creative degree in the UK. Sessions take place between 13-14 October 2021 and will include a minimum of three UK universities offering creative studies to ensure a broad representation in all topics.     St. Clare's has been invited to nominate one outstanding student for the 2022 Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship program, by the University of Toronto. Our nominee should be a creative thinker with an exceptional academic record who is recognized as a leader within St. Clare's and exhibits the potential to contribute positively to the global community in the future. Our nominee must intend to begin university study in September 2022 and must have either graduated from IB21 or currently be in IB22.     Sign Symbol Sound is live Explore the online exhibition Sign Symbol Sound, a celebration of language, community and the environment What are the signs, symbols and sounds that shape our communities and our environment? From experimental poetry to the communication of plants and fungi beneath our feet, explore timely responses to language and creativity through fifteen new artworks. ​ Part of Oxfordshire Green Week, these environmentally-inspired works were temporarily displayed in Oxford's Lye Valley nature reserve and documented online. Sign Symbol Sound is an exhibition by Modern Art Oxford and Oxford Brookes University, co-curated by a group of gallery volunteers. Sign Symbol Sound runs online from 8 September - 11 October 2021.

    NUCB Undergraduate School is offering prospective students the opportunity to join our case method experience days free of charge. This is the perfect chance to be a part of a real demonstration of the case method with participants from all over the world to fully understand if this MBA style teaching methodology is a good fit for you. Case Method This method was first used at Harvard in the early 20th century and has since become hugely popular thanks to its effectiveness in developing knowledge, skills, and attitudes among experienced students. The case method is at the core of the NUCB Undergraduate School academic experience.   • Scholarship Opportunities with Davidson College USA

    Nominations are now open for the John M. Belk Scholarship and the Lowell L. Bryan Scholarship, the two largest scholarships at Davidson College. John M. Belk Scholarship The John M. Belk Scholarship recognizes powerful students with demonstrated academic excellence, integrity, intellectual curiosity, willingness to take risks, and potential to be change agents in both their local and global communities. Winners are awarded a four-year scholarship (covering tuition, fees, room and board), and two special study stipends ($3,000 each). We can nominate up to two students from St. Clare's for the Belk Scholarship. Nominations are due December 1, 2021. Lowell L. Bryan Scholarship The Lowell L. Bryan Scholarship recognizes scholar-athletes who are strong leaders and performers in the classroom and impact players at the NCAA Division-I level on one of our 18 eligible teams. Davidson awards two Bryan Scholarships, covering tuition and fees for four years, to one female and one male athlete in each incoming class. We can nominate up to three students from St. Clare's for the Bryan Scholarship. Nominations are due by September 28, 2021. What are the challenges facing the drug industry today? In this class, we will discuss how drugs are discovered and developed, and we will explore exciting breakthroughs that are changing the drug industry. Professor Kritzer will also answer questions about chemistry, biochemistry, and undergraduate research at Tufts.

  • Virtual Sessions for International Families considering USA Liberal Arts Colleges Fall 2021

    The college search is already challenging for students and families. So Amherst, Bowdoin, Carleton, Pomona, Swarthmore, and Williams are putting our own rivalries aside, and hosting a series of virtual events for students, families, and counselors.
