About the institution
We offer four BA focused on interdisciplinary approach to the understanding of modern society in cultural and historical contexts. Bachelor graduates can continue their studies in 17 Master's programs including multiple double degree options and 4 Erasmus Mundus joint degree programs. The programs are designed to foster critical thinking and innovative problem solving, while our diverse body of international students from more than 70 different countries enables diverse discussions and a wide range of points of view.

Faculty of Social Sciences
Our Faculty is one of the 17 independent faculties of Charles University. Founded in the 14th century, Charles University offers rich tradition of a well-established institution, while the Faculty of Social Sciences, the second youngest faculty, brings modernity and the interdisciplinary approach. We are located in the vibrant, cosmpolitan city of Prague beloved by more than 1200 of our international students.
Currently, we have over 5000 students, about 1200 of which are international students from over 90 different countries.We also have one of the highest international mobility participation rates of all the faculties of Charles University. Each year we welcome around 500 exchange students from all over the world.
Student Life
One of the ways our students enjoy the benefits of a diverse international student body is through events and community created by the FSV UK Circle, a fast-growing student club founded and ran directly by the students.
